I. Feast of Tabernacles is about REMEMBERING!

B. Moses warned the nation about this (Deut. 8:11-20)

> Physically dwell in booths (sukkot) tabernacula.
> Leviticus 23:39-43 emphasizes this remembrance of Israel’s beginnings.
> America needs to remember “God shed his grace on thee.”
> Individually we recall God’s goodness (Psalm 103:1-5).

C. On the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles Jesus gave the spiritual reality behind the Jewish water ritual
when he cried out with a loud voice, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me,
as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water” (John 7:37-38).
D. Joel 2:23-26
E. Revelation 7:9-17 (Eternal celebration of the Feast)
In verse 9 “with palm branches in their hands” symbolic of Feast of Tabernacles.
Conclusion:
A. Have seen reference to the feast in the Pentateuch, in the Prophets, in the Gospels, in the book of
Revelations.
B. Today we embrace and enjoy the spiritual reality of this feast.
